It was much warmer here in soutwest Virginia today than it was eleven days ago. The high was 57. I enjoyed my lunch at one of the local parks. A few minutes before this picture was taken, there was a beautiful mallard duck in that water right there, and up in a nearby tree one of the most unusual-looking woodpeckers I've ever seen.  |
